Sign up Online. Set goals such as completing 150 minutes of activity
or 70,000 steps every week. Indicate whether you're interested in being a Team Leader - and if so, what Team Name you'd prefer. Choose whether to use EcFit for physical activity, nutrition, weight management - or all three!
Teaming Up: Your Wellness Program Leader will set up the Team Names and assign Team Leaders - they'll let you know if you'll be a Team Leader.
Otherwise, you'll get an email telling you to log into your EcFit account and join one of the available teams. You may also get email invites from Team Leaders and
co-workers you know, asking you to join their team. Just click the link in the email and you'll be on the team.
For people who aren't online - this is when their Team Leader can sign them up, so they can just use the phone to call in their steps or minutes.
Report Your Activity: Call or text EcFit anytime (or use the website) to report your steps or minutes of activity. Make sure to report
your activity at least weekly. You'll find that EcFit gives you a dose of education and motivation with every phone call or text conversation.
Optional: You can set up specific times each week for EcFit to contact you by phone, text message
or email to offer exercise reminders or ask how much activity you've gotten.
Don't worry if you miss a call, text or email from EcFit - you can always call in, text in, or go online later to log your activity. Many participants find this proactive
contact makes the difference in sticking with their new exercise habit!
Online Team Rankings and Social Networking: You can see live Team Rankings online, and post your comments on Team and Competition discussion boards - we've designed the website to make it fun to compete and compare activity with your friends. At the end of the competition - go online to see which team is the winner!
